Mansfield Town 1 Wrexham 0

It might have been a depleted side, but they pushed the Stags all the way and only a penalty was the difference.

After only two minutes, Andy Coughlin's first save saw him pushing away John Dempster's header from a long throw in.

A ball over the top finds its way to Stevenson but he fires his effort straight at Coughlin.

Reds fight back with Johnny Hunt twice escaping down the left and firing over crosses that had the home defence in two minds. Adrian Cieslewicz heading one down and keeper Alan Marriott taking the other.

Another long throw by the Stags dropped for Adam Murray to fire a low effort from 18 yards, but Coughlin equal to it on 13 minutes.

On 29 minutes, Dele beats the last man, but Rob Ogleby, standing ahead of the pair takes the ball and gets a bit excited by shooting when he was well offside.

Another massive throw in from Chapman, Andy missed his punch, but somehow cleared off his line. Earned his luck though.

On 42 minutes the home side won a penalty and from the spot, Andy went the right way, but Matt Green's spot kick was right in the corner.

Ht 1-0

A great five man move by the Welshmen ended with a corner after the home defence were stretched in the opening minutes of the second half.

Bradley Reid sent on for Rob Ogleby on the hour mark.

Five minutes later and Lee Briscoe did well running into the Wrexham box, but saved by Coughlin. Corner played in and an attacking header landed on crossbar.

Bradley Reid got a good header that was collected well by Alan Marriott after a good ball in by Walker.

End-to-end football here now with some great passes being made as well as sublime tackling.

Adam Murray booked for a foul on Rob Evans.

Time for the Beast as Mark Creighton makes his welcome return in the final 15 minutes.

Reid chases a long ball and Marriott out of his box, lucky to get the rebound in his favour well outside of his box.

An 84th minute change with Jonathan Royle for Glenn Little, gives the youngster his debut.

A straight red for Artell in the final moments means a three-match ban for the centre half.

Congratulation to Mansfield but we push on to face Kidderminster in the play-offs.
