Posted on: Thu 29 Oct 2009

THIS weekend we head to Kent for a fourth time in 2009, as we look to finally get a decent result at Stonebridge Road against the Fleet.

United have designated that this game will be dedicated to local serviceman and raise funds for the Help For Heroes charity.

All military personnel producing an identity card will be allowed free access with one other under the terms of the offer.

Pre-match entertainment will start at around 2pm with a penalty shoot-out between Ebbsfleet United's youth team and the regimental team of 36 Engineer Regiment, based at Invicta barracks in Maidstone.

Half-time will see presentations and a military representative will also present the EUFC Player of the Month award. The match will be followed by a function in the club bar.

The My Football Club society board, which helps run the club on behalf of its members in over 80 countries, has also sought and gained dispensation from the Blue Square Premier League to live-stream the match worldwide in association with TVMOBiLi.com.

Admission is by cash at the turnstiles on the day, with prices set at:

£15.00 - Adults
£8.00 - Concessions
Seating is an additional £2.00

Travelling By Road -

From The Motorway:
Exit the M25 at Junction 2 and take the A2 coastbound. Leave the A2 at the Northfleet/Gravesend West junction. When you reach the top of the slip road, turn left (compulsory). At the roundabout go straight across and down Springhead Road, and at the second roundabout turn left and follow the signs for "The Fleet". The Ground is at the end of the road and roadside parking is available all around the ground.

From Town Centre:
Follow one-way system round to Clive Road. Where the road splits past the railway station, next to the Somerset Arms pub, take the right turning, but immediately funnel into left-hand lane onto New Road/The Overcliffe. Continue straight for about two miles to London Road, then The Hill, then Northfleet High Street and finally past The Hive down to Stonebridge Road. The ground is at the bottom of the hill next to The Plough pub and opposite a Ford showroom.

Travelling By Rail -

The nearest station is Northfleet which is only about 200 yards from the ground. As you leave the station go (more or less) straight ahead until you reach the main road (EuroKebab on your left). Turn left and walk down the hill and the ground is on your right.

Alternatively, you can go to Gravesend station and get a bus to the ground. Come out of the station on the Town side and turn right. There are bus stops just by the station - a 480 will drop you outside the ground.
