Wrexham Ladies had a surprise defeat at the hands of an improved Llandudno side over the weekend, despite the visitors having been winners when the sides met earlier on in the season.

Llandudno went ahead on 41 mins, as the result of a goal-mouth scramble from a corner and took this advantage into the half time break.

A second half strike from Junction's Stacey Tradewell took the score to 2-0 on 49 mins and only dug a deeper hole for their opponents to climb out of.

Wrexham continued to battle hard, on an uncompromising pitch and brought the score to a more respectable 2-1 on 63 mins, through a strike from Kirsty Jones.

Try as they might though, an equaliser just won't come and it was a disappointing trip home along the A55.
