TOMORROW'S Pontin's League game against Rochdale (7.00) at Rossendale United's Dark Lane ground in Rawtenstall, which is at the far end of the M66, will see the Reds featuring several first teamers in need of match practice before the Easter weekend fixtures.
Both Steve Evans (fresh from his international double-header) and Ryan Valentine return from their various suspensions and after their extended absences will have to show up well to reclaim a first team place following improved results in League 2.
Missing though will be keeper Michael Jones, who has gone down with the same virus that has affected Jeff Whitley, Michael Ingham, Robbie Garrett and a few of the youth team in recent days.
Into his place will come youngster Chris Maxwell, but also making up the side will be the likes of Gareth Evans, Jamie Reed, Marc Williams, Levi Mackin, Andy Fleming and Josh Johnson.
For this heading up to the game go to the end of the M66 and then continue along the A682 to the town of Rawtenstall. At the junction with the A681 - turn right at a set of traffic lights. Continue along the A681 to a residential area and then turn right in Staghills Road, which is not the easiest of junctions to spot!
The ground is then on the right in Dark Lane.
