Trialists Given Chance To Shine
MANAGER Brian Carey continues his search for new talent and this week will see three players arrive at the club for trials over next couple of weeks.
First to arrive today was CarmarthenTown's Kaid Mohamed, who scored twice in a 3-2 Welsh Cup final victory over Afan Lido in May.
"My contract with Carmarthen is up and although the club is preparing for their UEFA Cup ties, I wanted to see if I could make the most of this opportunity," said the striker after arriving by train from south Wales.
"I was a full time player with Llanelli and would like to see if I can earn myself a deal with Wrexham.
"Carmarthen manager Deryn Brace has phoned me to wish me luck and assure me there was still a place for me with them if things don't work out."
The 22-year-old has played in the Welsh Premier since joining Cwmbran Town from Ely Rangers in 2003 and since has a record of 32 league goals in 79 (28) appearances, although 15 of those goals came last season in just 30 games.
Also coming into Colliers Park will be Chris Simm from Leigh RMI and a wide player from a Swedish club, who was recommended to us by Liverpool's Youth Officer Malcolm Elias.
