WITH no first team game for two weeks, we have taken the opportunity to re-arrange the outstanding Pontin's Holidays League fixture with Carlisle United for this coming Wednesday afternoon at the Racecourse Ground.

As we are no longer hosting Liverpool Reserves this year, there is a little more flexibility in using the Racecourse for Pontin's games, especially at the start and end of the season.

We had hoped to play Carlisle United Reserves on the recent Bank Holiday Monday, but that was not possible because of the Carling Cup ties which both Carlisle and ourselves had just 24 hours later.

Happily, we have been able to reschedule the fixture at short notice, which will be a bonus for players like Silvio Spann, Matt Crowell, Josh Johnson and Juan Ugarte.

As with previous games against Carlisle, we agree to a 2.00pm kick-off to make their return journey a little easier back up the M6 to the north of England, although it does make finding match officials - especially at short notice - that little bit more difficult.

Admission to Pontin's Holidays League games this season is free for Season Ticket Holders (on production of their books at the turnstiles), while it is just £4.00 Adults and £2.00 Concessions.

We will also be at home to Burnley Reserves next Monday (10 Sep), once again at the Racecourse, but with an evening kick-off at 7.00pm.
