WREXHAM Football Club is pleased to announce a sponsor has been found to fund the new £25,000 scoreboard that will soon be installed at the Racecourse Ground.
Until this new board is placed in its usual location above the Eric Roberts Stand, we will be having a temporary board at the ground to give fans a flavour of what is to come.
While the location of the temporary board is not ideal, above the Yale Stand tea bar, it was the only alternative safe area of the ground we had to house it.
"Our new board will be a lot larger than the temporary board that is in situ and will be able to receive digital and video images, therefore giving us another medium for advertising and producing photo birthday messages," explained Chief Executive Anthony Fairclough.
"It has got a lot of scope and we will be exploring new avenues to produce extra revenue from it."
Fans will have a taster of it at this weekend's game against Lincoln City, although it should be noted that the scoreboard on order will be larger in size.
