STRIKER Marc Williams and defender Kai Edwards has been asked to join up with the Wales U21 squad for training at Colliers Park, as coach Brian Flynn prepares for this Saturday's game against Bosnia-Herzegovina at the Racecourse (6.00).

The pair have been asked to help out during training as a number of players have either been promoted to the senior squad or cried off due to injury.

Flynn had asked for assistance from Brian Carey and with U21s based in North Wales this week, he was happy to co-operate.

Centre half Gareth Evans would also have been included in the training sessions, but for a knock he picked up at Peterborough over the weekend.

While they are not officially called-up to the squad, it is great practice for them to be training with Wales and will give them an opportunity to further impress the watching coaches.

Marc Williams is still serving the third game of a three-match ban for being sent off in the final game of the last set of qualifiers in Holland, but will be eligible for the next week's second U21 match.

After facing Bosnia this weekend, the U21s will head south to take on France at Ninian Park next Tuesday.
