DUE to the continued poor weather conditions over the weekend, this evening's Pontin's League game versus Accrington Stanley at Buckley Town has been called off.

The pitch was saturated following all the rain last week and then more downpours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Although officials from Buckley Town continued working onthe pitch this morning, one goalmouth was still underwater and the road side of the pitch was also heavily sodden.

Premiership referee Mike Jones was called in to give his expert decision and shortly after lunchtime he made the inevitable decision to postpone this evening's match.

We will discuss with Accrington suitable dates for the re-arranged game, but it will not be until at least mid-February.
