WITH Brentford the visitors on Saturday, Wrexham have been boosted with the return to the squad of two more first team players.
Mark Jones and Silvio Spann have been included in a 19-man squad to face the Bees after recovering from their respective injury problems.
Physio Mel Pejic has been delighted with the progress of mark, after going off with back problems against Notts County in late October.
"Mark has worked well at his rehab and we are very happy with his progress," said Mel.
"He has been training with the first team all week, and although he could have done with a reserve match, he's ready to get back to playing again.
"Silvio took a boot to his mouth about 10 days ago and needed a stitch or two, so he was a little sore but has now got back to a stage where he can start playing."
There was more good news after young striker Alex Darlington saw a specialist on Wednesday and was given the all-clear to step up his fitness work.
Alex suffered a second broken leg in the summer after only getting over a similar setback last January.
"This is certainly positive for Alex," said Mel.
"With Danny Williams also recovering well from his back operation, I'm hoping to see the pair of them back in action come February."
Brian Little has named the 16 on duty against Dagenham & Redbridge, plus Mark Jones, Silvio Spann and Gareth Evans.
Brentford will be without key defender John Mackie, who has been struggling with a leg injury and missed the 1-0 defeat to Grimsby last week, but definitely misses the trip to Wales through a one-match suspension after his fifth booking of the season in the recent loss to Morecambe.
Midfielder John Mousinho remains a long-term casualty with the knee injury he sustained in October but stand-in boss Andy Scott has no other concerns as he prepares for his first game in charge.
Should Scott choose to shuffle his pack then Lee Thorpe, Ricky Shakes and Sammy Moore could all come back into the side.
