Reds To Face Bradford On Saturday

Posted on: Fri 25 Jan 2008

AFTER all three of the FA Cup replays went to extra time and penalties, it was a nerve wracking shoot out at Underhill, which saw visitors Swindon Town miss all four of their spot kicks to hand Barnet a fourth round tie.

This also means that Wrexham will now face Bradford City at the Racecourse this Saturday (3.00).

The Bantams, who were in League action themselves this evening at Bury, were due to face Barnet at Valley Parade, but like ourselves, they now have a free weekend.

The two clubs have already approached The Football League about bringing forward our Tuesday, 12 February meeting, should we have been able to.

We will confirm with the League in the morning, but there is now no reason why we can't play host to Bradford, even at only four days notice - weather permitting that this!

Following their spot kick heroics, Barnet will be facing Bristol Rovers on Saturday in the FA Cup fourth round, after the Pirates saw off Premiership side Fulham at the mudbath that is the Memorial Stadium these days, also on penalties.
