THE Reserves will be in action on Wednesday night when they play host to Accrington Stanley (7.00) in the Pontin's League at their temporary home of NEWI Cefn Druids FC.

With Buckley having a home game on the same night, Druids have kindly stepped in to help us out on this occasion.

Once again Joey Jones will have a strong line-up available to him and that will include midfielder Danny Williams, returning to the fray after a back operation and four months out of the game.

"I have been training with the first team and now can't wait to be playing again<" he said.

"It will probably be only for 45 minutes, but over the next few weeks I will be building up my stamina.

"It has been a long time out and I won't be pushing myself to get back in contention before I'm properly ready.

"After four months on the sidelines, I would rather wait and extra week, then injury myself in trying to rush things.

"I want to play my part in the first team over the next few months, but I know that I won't be any good to anyone unless I'm fit again."
