THERE is some good news on the injury front with both Steve Evans and Neil Taylor in line for a recall tomorrow afternoon when Macclesfield Town visit the Racecourse Ground.
Steve came through 45 minutes of a reserve team game at Preston, when he saw one header striker the home crossbar and then another tipped away for a corner.
"It was good to be back," said the defender.
"Yes I did feel a slight twinge, but that's going to happen. I feel good enough to be involved against Macclesfield and that's what matters."
Defender Neil Taylor has been back in training this week, after being sidelined since the Bury match three weeks ago and has been passed fit to return.
Also included in the squad once more is Danny Williams, who enjoyed a brief run out as a late substitute on Tuesday evening at Mansfield Town, his first senior game in five months.
Missing will be Jeff Whitley (shoulder) and Danny Sonner (Achilles), while Carl Tremarco continues his recovery from an ankle injury picked up against Bury, with the full back having a further scan in midweek to see how the problem is progressing.
Robert Duffy did take part in the Pontin's League clash at Deepdale on Wednesday afternoon, but was still struggling with the football injury that he got in the derby day victory at Chester City on 9 March.
Wrexham: Gavin Ward, Anthony Williams, Simon Spender, Neil Taylor, Mike Williams, Richard Hope, Steve Evans, Phil Bolland, Gareth Evans, Neil Roberts, Sam Aiston, Paul Hall, Chris Llewellyn, Danny Williams, Matty Done, Michael Proctor, Drewe Broughton, Stuart Nicholson, Marc Williams.
Meanwhile, Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander will be reluctant to make changes to his in-form side.
Alexander named an unchanged side when his men beat Accrington 2-1 at home last weekend to continued their rich run of form.
The Silkmen have won four of their last five outings to move seven points above the drop zone with five games remaining.
Victory at the Racecourse Ground would leave Wrexham all but doomed to relegation from the Football League.
Striker Martin Gritton has been struggling recently with hamstring problems but the Silkmen are otherwise in rude health as they seek to build on their recent impressive form.
Alexander said: "We go to the Racecourse Ground with a clear game-plan, the same one that has seen us pick up some valuable points in recent weeks."
