LEVI Mackin capped a personally pleasing run in the side by scoring the opener at Lincoln in Wrexham's remarkable last day party.

"We tried it in training the other week and it just came off! 

"I got a little touch on it and I'm not sure if the defender got the final touch but it went straight in and I'm very pleased with it!

"I feel the season's finished too early for me because I feel as fit as I have done all season. It's been good-I've enjoyed the last couple of games; it's just a shame we got relegated. 

"Going out on loan and getting some games helped me a lot and my condition has been good. Since I've come back things have come pretty naturally for me; like I said it's just a shame the season has finished too early for me!

"I'm looking forward to a break now and want to come back fully fit for pre-season, where hopefully I can pick up where I've left off!"
