AS we begin the process of switching from The Football League to the Blue Square Premier, there are a number of procedures which have to be gone through.

One of the more poignant has been the returning our share in The Football League, which will then be transferred onto Aldershot FC.

After all the battles, including High Court actions, that the club went through to remain as a member of The Football League in recent years, having to officially give back our membership was a sad occasion.

At least though, we are in a position to be able to do something about it on the pitch next season and we still have a club capable of achieving that goal.
