BLACKPOOL head back to the UK today and a game against Wrexham at the Racecourse on Saturday (3.00), after a two match pre-season build-up in Eastern Europe.
Following a 2-1 success at Fleetwood Town last Saturday, they jetted out to Latvia for a double-header.
FK Jurmala was their first destination for a match that ended 1-1, with an unnamed trialist scoring their last minute equaliser on Monday evening.
Just 24 hours later the Seasiders were back in action against Skonto Riga, but their whistle-stop tour ended in a 4-0 defeat.
Blackpool went into the game, against the side placed second in the Latvian Virsliga, minus seven players sitting injured in the stands.
The match, held at Skonto Stadium (where the national team play), was at a higher level and tempo than the night before and the visitors found themselves three down before the break - including a penalty from ex-Saints man Marian Pahars.
A second 45 minutes saw them concede a fourth goal to a team well into their domestic campaign.
For this Saturday, Wrexham fans are reminded that just the Mold Road Stand will be open, with supporters able to get a drink before the match in the Changing Rooms bar, which is accessible from inside the ground via the brown door next to the Executive Boxes.
If you have not tried this facility before, then please take advantage of it on Saturday.
Match admission prices are just:
Adults - £7.00
Concessions - £3.00
