AS one member of staff prepares to head off to pastures new, we are delighted to welcome on board a long standing supporter of the club who will be joining us full-time.

Wyn Griffiths will be well known to many supporters following his sterling work with the Supporters Trust during our darkest days of recent years, when he was one of the hard working board members of the Trust.

With the opportunity caused by the expansion of the Club Shop and the increasing reliance of the business on IT systems, the directors were looking for someone who could combine a role looking after both these.

To this end Wyn fits the bill well, having run the club shop when it was under the control of the Trust and through his 'normal' day work in IT.

It's a pleasure to welcome on board someone whose over-riding concern is the wellbeing of the club.

Another departure from our ranks will be club accountant John Coats, who has been with us for several years, joining soon after we exited from Administration.

John is a football man through and through, being a life-long Northwich Vics fan, who follows his all over the country.

He has been offered a post much closer to his Cheshire home and while he will miss the Racecourse, he is looking forward to a much shorter journey to work each day.

We thank him for all his efforts on our behalf over the last two years and wish him well for the future.
