BOSS Brian Little was much happier with his side as they turned the early tide at Salisbury and came back to win in some style.

"I was pleased, pleased by the little things," he said.

"We are still learning about each other. Shaun [Whalley] looked every bit as dangerous out wide as he does through the middle, in fact more so coming on to his right foot from the left.

"He went into the centre in pre-season when we had a few injuries, but we've found he's got an eye for goal.

"The disappointment was with Nat's injury. He had trained for three days, yet within 30 seconds of playing he's hurt himself. We're not sure at the moment how bad it is, but he felt something, and knowing that we don't have big Evo for next Saturday, then we needed to get him off.

"It is though good to win, which is the most important thing, and I hope it will start to settle everyone down.

"I said before we came here, that we couldn't get concerned about our results away from home. Even last Monday, when we didn't play very well, we felt we should have won and also at Rushden.

"So we knew it would come, be arriving here today with them top of the league, the first 20 minutes really frighten us a bit, probably me more so than the players!

"We regrouped and won the game well in the end.

"During the last 15 minutes of the first half we got to grips with the situation and had to tidy up on some of our passing. We said we needed to get round the sides and through the centre backs, which we did a few more times.

"Jeff especially, not to give him the ball short, but to turn them and he scored a good goal again, although he is claiming two.

"A good solid second half performance against a side that has picked up some good results this season."
