11.00am - SITUATION remains the same... Wrexham fans will be housed in the South Stand, away from the elements on the open terraces.

It's still raining as the team coach makes it way off the M6 and onto the A14 in Northamptonshire.

What a difference a week makes, as last Saturday the travelling support was more worried about avoiding sunburn at Salisbury!

8.30am - GROUNDSTAFF at the Abbey Stadium worked late into the night on Friday to make sure this afternoon's game has every chance of going ahead.

They were forking water off the surface until midnight and returned to ground this morning at 6.00am to mark the lines.

As we stand, it is playable, but more rain is forecast for after lunch, so we are really in the lap of the Gods.

Bar and hospitality areas at the ground have been flooded for the second time this summer(!), but the United staff are working hard to get the game played.

They are also keeping us informed of developments and should the situation change, then we will do our best to communicate any news to supporters.
