The Under 17's opened with a 4-1 win over the Faroe Islands and the line-up included Wrexham defender Leon Clowes, while schoolboy Max Penk was named on the bench.

Goals for Wales were scored by Joshua Dawkin (37 mins), Elliott Chamberlain (59 mins) and two from Billy Bodin (66 mins & 69 mins).

Wales play Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
