AS supporters will no doubt be aware, we now come into the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON a round earlier than we have been used to.

This means an appearance in the fourth qualifying round and as the third qualifying round was played yesterday, we will found out our opponents tomorrow (Monday) lunchtime.

The draw will be released by 1pm, earlier if possible, so it could be anytime after 12noon onwards.

These games are due to be played on Saturday, 25 October, with any possible replay scheduled for the following midweek (instead of the more familiar 10 days later).

Regionalisation will also be used for this draw to keep travel costs down - although old foes Blyth Spartans are still involved!

The following are potential opponents - Belper Town, Blyth Spartans, Curzon Ashton, Retford United, Droylsden, Durham City, Fleetwood Town, Nantwich Town, and Boston United.

Also replays will be needed to separate Eastwood Town or Harrogate Town, Guiseley or Sheffield FC and Alfreton Town or Ilkeston Town, plus Newcastle Blue Star and Hucknall Town are playing off this afternoon.

There will also be plenty of BSP sides to fill out the rest of the draw.

As soon as any news reaches us, we will post it here...
