WITH our visit to Llangeni Town postponed, manager Dean Saunders took this opportunity against Druids to give a run out to trialists Christian Nimani-Ngalou and Neal McDermott, as well as a welcome return for Simon Spender.
It was the visitors who took the lead on seven minutes, when a corner was defekcted into his own goal by Chris Marriott - ironically currently on loan at Druids!
The Dragons hit back on 13 minutes when, when Obi Anoruo charged down a clearance and race on to slot the ball passed Chris Mullock in the Druids net.
After a flourish of chances from both teams that struck the woodwork, Obi finished off from close range, following good work by Marriott and Spender on 43 minutes.
A third goal duly arrived for the home team on 53 minutes, Kai Edwards chipping the Druids' back line for Simon Spender to run through and finish from an angle.
A long range shot from Neal McDermott on 59 minutes gave the visiting keeper no chance on 59 minutes and the home scoring was wrapped by Ed Moss on 66 minutes, when he brought down a george Stewart cross before despatching Wrexham's fifth.
Druids did get a consolation strike on 76 minutes, when Joe Feeney took a quick free kick to his feet, before spinning and sending a low shot into the corner of the Wrexham net.
