HAT TRICK hero Marc Williams was naturally a happy man after he put three goals past Eastbourne Borough.

"I'm delighted with my first senior hat trick," he said. 

"The one at Forest Green was taken away from me, so in the last minute today I wasn't going to pass up another chance!

"It's nice to have scored so many goals so soon. I've just got to keep playing, keep working hard and the goals will come.

"The Gaffer asked me on Friday how many am I on. I said 'nine' and he said, 'Then get to 20 and make it quick!'

"Well, I've got 12 now!

"Jeff and I have got a good partnership going, and he had a couple of chances and scored a good goal as well. If both of us can get up to 20, we'll have a good chance of promotion. We're both in good form and it's a question of keeping it going.

"We've got a few games to look forward to over Christmas now and have to stay in shape and make sure we keep getting the three points.

"The other teams keep winning around us, but I'm sure if we keep winning we'll go up the table, although I've just been told we haven't moved again after today's win!

"It seems to be the same every Saturday, but I'm sure if we just keep focussed on our part of the job we'll move up."
