MIDFIELDER Andy Fleming was more than a little downhearted following today's 1-1 draw with Woking at the Racecourse.
"We created a lot of chances and having taken the lead in the first half, should have gone onto win," he said.
"It was a horrible mistake at the back to let them into the game for a point.
"We are all disappointed, especially after the amount of chances we created. As the Gaffer says it's good that we are creating them, but you just have to take them and kill games off."
Andy had a new partner at the centre of the team with Liverpool's Ryan Flynn making his home debut, over a month after signing on loan.
"It's the first time I've played alongside Ryan, but I thought we worked hard for each other, helping each other out when we needed it," he said.
"It was difficult when they were crowding the midfield, hard for us to try and to carve out a few chances.
"Jeff had a few headers and Marc had some fall for him, we just needed to get that second goal.
"If we had put them away early doors, then we would have settled into it down more."
Never one to pass up the chance of a shot from distance, Andy had a few efforts himself.
"I found myself around the edge of the box and tried to get off a few shots. But it wasn't to be today," he said.
"We should have taken six points from the Christmas games, but being behind at Barrow it was good that we came back.
"Having said that, it was another two points dropped then and we have to get to winning games as quickly as possible."
The midfielder has been thrown back into the side as soon as he returned to fitness.
"It gives you confidence getting put back into the team so quickly, as I thought I would have to spend more time in training before being given another chance," said Andy.
"I'm delighted to be back, as there is plenty of competition for the places.
"Now it's all about getting the club into the promotion places and challenging at the top."
