DEAN Saunders tied up the transfer of Manchester City full back Sam Williamson this morning and he officially joins us on an a contract up until the summer of 2010.
One off-shoot of the deal going through today, is that he now no longer counts as one of our loan players, as you can only go up to a maximum of five named on a matchday teamsheet.
This means with Ryan Flynn fit and Angelos Tsiaklis back from Cyprus, the boss can, if he wishes, use all his loan signings at Ebbsfleet United tomorrow.
Three of the lads are up after this weekend's trip to Kent, with deals for Angelos, Ryan and Jon Brown all due to expire in the next few days.
Liverpool have agreed for Ryan to stay through to the end of January and Cardiff City are on the verge of doing the same for Jon. While Angelos will talk with the coaches back at City before deciding on a final month at the Racecourse.
Our thanks again to the staff at the City of Manchester Stadium for their assistance in completing Sam's switch, as usual our dealings with them have been first class.
