TWO players have returned to the Racecourse following periods away on loan, with both Darran Kempson and Simon Brown back in training at Colliers Park.

Centre half Darran was involved with Forest Green Rovers' excellent cup run and featured in Saturday's exciting 4-3 defeat to DerbyCounty, which was shown live worldwide, although not in the UK.

"It's been a great spell with Rovers and the cup matches were an added bonus," said Darran.

"I've enjoyed my time there, but I want to make an impression with Wrexham and now feel I can do that after playing on a regular basis for the last two months."

Forest Green boss Jimmy Harvey was interested in Darran staying longer after he made a good impression at the New Lawn.

Meanwhile, Simon had spent a month with Rushden & Diamonds and featured in two league matches, as well as their FA Trophy success over Newport County.
