MIDFIELDER Andy Fleming has put pen to paper on his new contract, which extends his stay with the Reds until the summer of 2010.

Having broken through into the first team since the arrival of manager Dean Saunders, Andy has recovered from a knee injury to force his way back into the team and continues to impress.

Also staying at the club, at least in the short-term will be loan players Jon Brown and Ryan Flynn.

Both Cardiff City and Liverpool have agreed that the lads can remain with us until the end of January, when any further extension to their deals can discussed before the transfer window closes.

Midfielder Christian Smith came to end of his short-term contract last Monday.
