DESPITE getting a positive result against Workington this afternoon, results elsewhere went against us arranging a BSP fixture at short notice for this coming Tuesday night.

Possible opponents Barrow and Histon would have been free, if their Tuesday evening foes, Southport and Forest Green Rovers had drawn their FA Trophy ties this afternoon.

With replays being played just three days after the original fixtures, then we were looking at getting a game on.

As it was Southport caused an upset by seeing off Torquay United at Haig Avenue and FGR defeated Hednesford 1-0 at the New Lawn.

Therefore both Barrow and Histon will now go ahead with their games as scheduled.

Not only did we already have five BSP games to slot in at some stage, but progress in the Trophy now means our visit to Burton Albion on Saturday, 21 February will also have to be rescheduled - despite their 4-0 reversal at Stevenage Borough!

If further progress was made in the Trophy, then semi-final is polayed over two legs, knocking off another two BSP games!
