WHILE the manager continues his hunt for a new striker to bring to the club, he at least has no new injury worries following Saturday's visit to Eastbourne.
The Dragons look to break their winless run of late but face the draw champions Forest Green Rovers at the Racecourse this evening (7.45).
Under former Reds midfielder Jimmy Harvey, the Gloucestershire club have been steadily gaining points with a run of seven draws in their last eight Blue Square Premier fixtures.
This includes recovering from 2-0 and 3-1 down against one of the division's form sides in Oxford United at the weekend, which must rank alongside their best of the season.
The point secured by Darren Jones' dazzler and Conal Platt's brace was the bare minimum the home side deserved from a harum-scarum affair.
Indeed, Rovers have only failed to score in a league fixture once since last September, so just why they sit hovering above the danger zone is something a mystery.
Their FA Cup exploits in beating Rochdale and then taking Derby County to the best of seven goals, probably overshadowed their league form and the currently sit only a few points off a relegation spot.
Our own Darran Kempson sent two months with the Nailsworth-based club, while former trialist Kaid Mohamed has been with Rovers since last summer, although he is available for a move.
Harvey said: "We've found a bit of form, and I think that's down to the fact that key players are fit and we're able to put a strong team out.
"It's a little bit bizarre that we dominated as much as we did in the first half and all of a sudden we found ourselves 2-0 down.
"But the boys were marvellous, as they have been over the last few weeks. Although we haven't been picking up wins, the performances have certainly warranted some."
Player-coach Jerry Gill is definitely out of tonight's clash at the Racecourse Ground after suffering a horrific facial injury on Saturday.
The right-back collided with advertising hoardings in first-half stoppage time, suffering three fractures to the right side of his face.
He was due to be admitted to a specialist clinic in Worcester and will remain there for three days, undergoing an operation to insert a plate.
Goalkeeper Terry Burton (groin) is doubtful for the game, but Harvey is backing his squad to maintain their performance levels and cope with the pressure of a relegation scrap.
