THE Wales U21 squad for the upcoming home and away games with Luxembourg have just been released and it includes two Wrexham players with another on standby.

Both Neil Taylor and Jon Brown are named in the 18-man party, as is Joe Allen, who enjoyed a brief period on loan at the Racecourse back in October.

Meanwhile, young goalkeeper Chris Maxwell, who has just signed an extended contract until the end of next season, is named amongst the six players on standby.

These matches with Luxembourg, which will be played on Friday, 27 March and Tuesday, 31 March, and are the opening fixtures in the next UEFA U21 European Championship qualifiers.

In Group 3, the Welsh will also be facing Italy, Hungary and Bosnia, with these games played over the coming 20-months in the lead up to the 2011 finals.
