Mark Completes Racecourse Return
MIDFIELDER Mark Jones has put pen to paper on his return to the Racecourse by signing on the dotted line to finalise one-year deal with Wrexham.
The locally-born player came through the ranks with the Dragons and after a year away with Rochdale has returned to his roots.
"I just want to be playing again, simple as that," said Mark as he completed formalities this afternoon.
"I did enjoy my brief spell with Rochdale, but I just didn't play enough.
"That was the reason for me ending my contract early and then being happy to listen to what Dean Saunders had to say to me.
"I still can't believe we slipped out of The Football League, but the boss is starting to rebuild here and I want to be apart of it."
Mark has just returned from a few days holiday in New York and was quick to get the paperwork out of the way as soon as possible.
"I'm glad things have been settled and now I'm looking forward to a fresh start with Wrexham.
"Several clubs have been spending big already in the Blue Square, but I've no doubt we will be challenging for a return to the higher level.
"I want to be part of getting this club back into League 2."
