OUR scheduled visit to Welshpool Town has had to be postponed due to a clash with a local cricket game.

The pitch at Maesydre also doubles up as a cricket ground and there appears to be a conflict of fixtures.

Welshpool looked at alternative venues, but in the end we have agreed to visit them once the season gets underway - hopefully during September.

In place of this game, we will instead head along the A55 to face Bangor City on the same night - Monday, 13 July.

The Citizens are building up to their appearance in the Europa Cup, when they will face Finnish side FC Honka at the Racecourse on Thursday, 23 July, after a first leg visit to Helsinki on Thursday, 16 July.
