Pair Complete Their Paperwork
TWO more players put pen to paper this afternoon, as both Nathan Fairhurst and Jamie McCluskey completed their new deals.
The pair were both at the Racecourse last season, Nathan joining on loan from Preston North End in mid November, while Jamie was a free agent capture in February.
Offered a new deal at Deepdale, 19-year-old Nathan has instead thrown his lot in with Wrexham, signing a two-year contract and also moving to live in the town, instead of travelling down each day from his family home in Chorley.
The midfielder played 20 BSP games in 2008/09 and weighed in with a couple of goals, including a stunning winner at Northwich Vics.
Scotsman Jamie was the SPL's youngest player when he made his debut for Hibernians at Kilmarnock in January 2004. He then moved onto St Johnstone before being recommended to Dean Saunders six months ago.
Still only 21, he was just starting to make his mark as a non-contract signing when he turned his ankle in a friendly away to Stockport County and it was only in the last few weeks of the campaign that he was back to full fitness.
