THE club this afternoon completed a loan deal which has allowed attacking midfielder Steve Abbott to join The New Saints until early in the New Year.

With playing time limited for the Liverpool-born player, he will be looking for more first-team action in the Welsh Premier.

Steve, who actually celebrates his 27th birthday today, won't be short on friends at Park Hall, with a number of former Dragons on their books.
