SUPPORTERS will have noticed that assistant manager Terry Darracott has been missing from the dugout during our pre-season games.

The former Everton and Wrexham full back is all set to have a hip replacement operation and has therefore been forced to rest at home.

"Unfortunately Terry has already got two plastic knees and now his hip has gone, so he's going to need a replacement," said Dean Saunders.

"At the moment he's really struggling to get his shoes and socks on and is in a bit of pain.

"It looks as though he will need an operation, but when that's done and he is fit, then he'll be back with us."

At the moment he is still waiting on a date for his medical treatment, but we will update his situation when more information is to hand.
