FOUR goals in four days and all of them something a little bit special - it's been quite a week for converted striker Wes Baynes.

"I was happy to get a chance to just show what I could do," he said.

"It was a free role for me today, especially as it's the first time I've played a competitive game for Wrexham in this position.

"I did do it against Wolves in pre-season and I was quite happy.

"So after getting told I as playing there yesteday, I was really looking forward it."

The Chester-based player talked us through that first strike.

"I was looking where the keeper was lining up his wall and I saw he's left a massive gap, so I just went for it," said Wes.

"The confidence is there, because I've been hitting them in training and for the reserves, so I knew I could do it again in the first team."
