SWINDON Town manager Danny Wilson has been busy in the transfer market as the Emergency Loans window closed this afternoon and made two deadline day swoops.
First in was Alan Sheehan (right) on loan from Leeds United and the left-sided man can play either at full-back or in midfield.
Former Republic of Ireland U21 international Sheehan began his career at Leicester City and has also played for Mansfield Town and Oldham Athletic, making nine appearances for the latter this season.
The 23-year-old was sent off at the County Ground last season while playing for Leeds and also turned out in Wiltshire for Crewe later on in the campaign when on loan at the Railwaymen.
Wilson then turned his attention to the Premiership by capturing Bolton striker Danny Ward on a one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old has scored six times for the Premier League side's reserve team and has also featured twice in the top flight - against Hull City and Sunderland.
Both players will be eligible for Saturday's FA Cup second round tie at Racecourse.
Meanwhile, winger Anthony McNamee completed his loan move to Norwich City.
The 26-year-old had been constantly linked with a switch to Swindon's League One rivals and missed training this morning to discuss terms in East Anglia.
The former Watford man - who is out of contract in the summer - and while he is initially on loan until January 4 it is likely the move will be made permanent in the New Year.
Looking around the Conference and few players with Wrexham connections were on the move.
Striker Steve Basham has left Luton Town for a two-month loan spell with the rapidly improving Hayes & Yeading.
While French forward Armand One, will be leaving Tyneside after Saturday's fixture with Crawley Town.
"One has yet to score a competitive goal for Gateshead and has not shown enough to take the month-by-month deal forward," said manager Ian Bogie.
One time trialist and relative of Denis Smith, striker Sam Smith, has been recalled by Rushden & Diamonds from BSN neighbours Corby Town to play in the FA Cup at Brighton this weekend.
In turn, on loan frontman Jefferson Louis is unavailable to the Diamonds, as he's cup tied with his parent club Crawley.
