IT has now been confirmed that Christian Smith's upcoming suspension, following his dismissal on Tuesday night for a second yellow card, will be for two matches.

The combative midfielder has previously been sent off this season, a straight red in the FA Cup against Swindon Town back in November.

With each dismissal comes an additional one game ban.

Therefore he will receive one match for the double yellow and another game for it being his second of the season - two games in total.

This suspension kicks in automatically, so he will miss this Saturday's visit to Eastbourne Borough and the home game with Tamworth on Tuesday.
