(Due to legislation we cannot supervise 4-7 year olds all day)

FUN FOOTBALL

Wrexham FC Football Foundation is the only accredited Fun Football provider in Wrexham and Flintshire. We are also accredited to deliver in any county throughout Wales.

Parents can be assured that Wrexham FC Football Foundation Fun Football courses operate to the highest standard.

What is Fun Football?

"Fun Football" is the term given to informal organised football activity with the emphasis on a 'turn up and play' and 'skill development through creative football practice'. The term "fun football" is recognised by UEFA (The European Governing body of football) and is endorsed as a grass roots development initiative.

Background

The Fun Football Charter Mark Programme was introduced to provide local authorities, clubs and private organisations with a benchmark scheme for the delivery of curricular and extracurricular activities within the boundaries of each local authority.

The main aim of the programme is to ensure that clubs and private organisations deliver a quality assured football programme to junior players.

Fun Football Accreditation Scheme

The central aim of the Fun Football Programme is to increase regular participation amongst boys and girls in a safe, enjoyable and productive environment.

The Accredited Organisation

An accredited Fun Football Organisation is permitted to deliver a nationally recognised programme endorsed by the Welsh Football Trust having demonstrated the highest standards in:

   · Child Welfare

   · Equal Opportunities

   · Health and Safety

   · Equipment and Facilities

   · Coach Education and Technical Development

Accredited organisations will be monitored and assessed by the Welsh Football Trust on a regular basis to maintain their accreditation.
