IN front of over 4,000 fans at Spytty Park, the Exiles saw off Havant and Waterlooville 2-0 to confirm that the Blue Square South title was heading to south Wales.

At the final whistle, thousands of celebrating supporters swarmed onto the Newport Stadium pitch as County lifted themselves up to the Blue Square Premier for 2010/11 - 21 years after they were last there!

Sam Foley grabbed both goals on the night, the first coming midway through the first half as he headed home Jamie Collins' cross from close range at the far post.

Then, on 67 minutes, he struck his 17th goal of the season, reacting first after Havant cleared off the line.
