WALES Semi Professional team manager Terry Boyle has named his squad of eighteen for this month's under 23 friendly against England and eleven Principality Welsh Premier League stars have been named.
There are no new call-ups to the squad as Boyle has opted for consistency in the build up to the Welsh team's final International Challenge Trophy match against Poland next month, but there are two named for the first time on the stand-by list.
Luke Bowen's good early form at Port Talbot and Neath's Chris Jones' switch out of the professional game means that they have come under the radar of Boyle and will be hoping to get their chance if there are any withdrawals.
TNS midfielder Aeron Edwards, who has started all three matches at this level since being called into the squad twelve months ago is injured and misses out, so Barrow's James Owen from Caernarfon, who was capped as a sub against Poland last season, returns to the fold.
Striker Marc Williams, who is on loan at Kidderminster from Wrexham, is the only other change to the squad that travelled to Portugal in the last match, while brother Mike is also named.
The squad also includes three ex-Welsh Premier players, who are now plying their trade in the Blue Square Conference, with Tamworth's Scott Barrow, Forest Green's Curtis McDonald and Altrincham's Rob Williams who were formerly of Port Talbot, Carmarthen and TNS respectively, all named in the strong squad.
The match at Latham Park is a 7:30 kick-off on Tuesday, 14 September with admission available on the gate and priced at £6.00 adults and £3.00 concessions.
