WREXHAM AFC are delighted to announce that both Jay Harris and Joslain Mayebi have signed new contracts with the Dragons.
A former Everton trainee, Harris has been a key figure in player-manager Andy Morrell's midfield whilst the Cameroon born keeper has kept an incredible 12 clean sheets since making the number one spot his own earlier this term.
"It's great news," proclaimed the Wrexham boss."They are both key players for us and so it's good to get their immediate futures sorted out ahead of the promotion run-in."
Now in his second season at The Racecourse, Harris' new deal takes him through to the end of the 2012-13 campaign and the 24-year-old was clearly delighted at the news.
"I want to get into League 2 and I believe I can get there with Wrexham," said the midfielder.
"There was never any intention to leave the club and go elsewhere, as I'm enjoying life in Wales."
Previously with FC Metz, AEK Lanarca and Hakoah Ramat Gan, Mayebi has settled well into a new country and has signed a contract through to the summer of 2014.
"I love it here and the fans have been great to me. Hopefully we can repay them by winning promotion this season."
With full back Neil Ashton having previously agreed an extended contract, that is now three of the players out of contract this coming summer who have already committed to longer stays with the club.
