Your thoughts on the game Roy?
We are disappointed on our performance in conditions that we haven't played on much this season, as the pitch was very heavy. The one thing I said after Sunday was that we shouldn't feel sorry for ourselves and it looked like we did just that.
Wrexham bossed the game really?
Let's not forget that Wrexham should have 30 points at this moment and not be on 20 after their point deduction, so they are no mugs and they should be well away from the relegation zone.
You brought in some fresh faces to freshen up the side did it?
I would like to think it did Stall didn't have the best of starts but he did pull a goal back and perhaps should have levelled early in the second half, when we were on top for 10 to 15 minutes before they got the third goal. We had chances to get back into the game, which perhaps we didn't deserve, but their keeper made two or three excellent saves.
The first and the third goals were disappointing as they came from set pieces. The opening goal came from a throw and they created a two-on-one situation and we didn't deal with the first ball or the header across goal.
The second goal was a great strike a neat one-two, one of our midfielders should have tracked back but it was a great strike into the top corner. I don't think any goalkeeper would have stopped that and it was a super goal.
What was important was that we had to pull a goal back. Stall had a poor start in the first twenty minutes nothing went right for Stall but he kept going. We got Sammy Clingan in on goal and he perhaps should have scored and then Stall got us back into the game before half-time.
When they scored the third did your heart sink?
It did a little but the players kept going at them, yet nothing really broke for us in the box when maybe it could have done. But another set piece cost us a goal a couple of headers and tap home - it will be interesting to look at the video to see where we were on that.
You made three changes in the second half?
We made two changes before the game and it was obvious that Derek [Niven] looked tired as he got caught in possession, so that's why we took him off. We brought on Adam Smith to put some crosses in which he did but the quality wasn't really there. But that's not knocking the kid, as I am pleased with his progress, but we need to be patient with him as I am sure he's got the quality which will come out.
Was it a case of too much Turkey and Christmas Pudding perhaps?
Not at all, as I said, I think we just seemed to feel sorry for ourselves and failed to adapt to the conditions. Today we weren't really at the races, we got caught in possession in midfield and in heavy conditions you have to be more direct and play off the front men more. We didn't do that and played to many tight balls and it cost us.
Two defeats in a row - is it a pivotal point in the season?
It must be it's the first time we have lost two games in a row and we must avoid a third. But let's not forget that Wrexham should have 30 points and it's been hard for them - they are far from a bottom four side.
