THE Reserves got their pre-season underway tonight when they make the 'long' to Gresford Athletic for a pre-season friendly.

Gresford gave themselves some hope with an 87th minute goal, but within a minute Mark Stewart had fired an unstopable effort into the Gresford net.

The youngsters now travel across to Llandudno on Saturday for a 2.00pm kick-off.
