Mike WIlliams: We Showed Character
The Reds full back was delighted with the character Wrexham showed in fighting back to earn a point against league leaders Walsall.
"We were very disappointed with the Boston result because we felt the games leading up to it showed that we could get on a run and start winning games and climbing the table," said Mike.
"The Boston game knocked us for six really, and we came into the Walsall game suffering from injuries and suspensions and then went 1-0 down. The lads did well to come back from all that and earn a draw against the side is top of the division. In fact, we were unlucky not to have won it!
"We were definitely the better side in the second half. In the first half we were a bit sloppy, but when we went in at half time we said that we can play better than that - then went out for the second half and we looked the better team.
"I enjoyed slotting in at centre back and I thought Shaun and I did well in there. Whichever position I play in, it doesn't bother me. People often ask me which position I prefer, but as long as I'm on the field I don't mind where I'm playing, to be honest."
