AFTER the much needed away win at Bury, WREXHAM look forward to their third successive away game as they face Dagenham and Redbridge this Saturday (3.00pm).

Eifion Williams' first half goal at Gigg Lane was the difference for Brian Little's side on Tuesday evening, as Wrexham secured their second away victory of the season and continued their unbeaten start under the new manager.

The win moved the Dragons out of the relegation zone and into 20th place in League Two, with Mansfield Town and Saturday's opponents Dagenham and Redbridge now occupying the bottom two places.

John Still's side will be looking for a victory to put an end to an awful run of form. The Daggers' last victory in the league came against Brentford, when they held on for a narrow 3-2 victory on 2 October.

Since then they have only picked up two points from nine games, drawing their matches against Macclesfield Town (1-1) and Chesterfield (1-1).

On Tuesday evening they faced league leaders MK Dons at Victoria Road, losing the game 1-0 after Drissa Diallo's first half header. The Daggers could not force an equaliser despite hitting the woodwork on two occasions, though in the end the visitors could even afford the luxury of a missed penalty before seeing out the game.

The Daggers have managed to put their league form behind them and find success in the FA Cup however. In the first round they cruised to victory against Hampton and Richmond, winning 3-0 away from home. In the next round they saw off Kidderminster Harriers 3-1, to set up a third round tie against Oxford United or Southend United.

Top scorer for the Daggers this season is Paul Benson, who has found the net seven times in all competitions. The 27-year-old striker impressed last season scoring 28 league goals for the Daggers as they gained promotion to League Two. They eventually finished with 95 points, 14 ahead of Morecambe who also joined them in the football league following a playoff final win against Exeter City.

Brian Little will be forced into at least one change for Saturday's game, as Eifion Williams is likely to be out of action for a few weeks after injuring his hamstring at Bury. Sam Aiston and Matty Done may return should they recover from illness, and Mike Carvill may have forced his way into the squad after impressing for the reserves in midweek, scoring twice in the 3-2 win against Bury.
