WREXHAM travel to Mansfield Town tonight, a fixture that will have a huge bearing on the fight for Football League survival (7.45pm kick-off).

The Dragons remain bottom of League Two following a disappointing 3-2 defeat away to Barnet on Saturday. Despite goals from Drewe Broughton and Simon Spender, Brian Little's side could not do enough to avoid defeat at Underhill.

Wrexham now face two huge games which they must win in order to have a give themselves a chance of playing in League Two next season.

Mansfield Town picked up another point in their fight for survival with a 0-0 draw away to local rivals Notts County on Saturday. Over 10,000 fans watched the game, and the travelling supporters will have been disappointed not to take all three points after a spirited performance.

Russell Hoult was the man of the match for the home side, pulling off a string of saves to preserve a clean sheet. The result leaves Mansfield on 34 points, and Notts County occupying the all-important 22nd position on 41 points.

Michael Boulding has been the star of the season for Mansfield, the striker contributing 18 of the 40 league goals scored by Paul Holland's side.

Both sides are likely to be unchanged from their last outing. Neil Roberts picked up a knock in training and may not be risked, though Danny Sonner may force his way back into the side if he recovers from injury.

Lee Bell is the only absentee for Mansfield Town, the midfielder suffering from a long-term knee injury.

Last Time Out

It was honours even when the sides met at the Racecourse on March 1st. Michael Boulding put the away side ahead when he deflected in a Keith Briggs' shot, but Michael Proctor levelled matters when he fired in a low free-kick from 20 yards.
