ANDY first came to prominence as a goalscorer with non-league side Newcastle Blue Star in the Northern League, before he was recommended for a trial at Wrexham back in 1998.
He showed enough promise to be given an extended contract and went on to score a record 7 goals for the club in an 8-0 victory over Merthyr Tydfil in the FAW Premier Cup.
The Leicester-born striker also formed a good partnership with Lee Trundle, which saw him finish as The Football League's leading scored in 2003.
A move to Coventry City soon followed and then there were further spells with both Blackpool and Bury, before he returned to the Racecourse in the summer of 2010.
