Another Belfast boy in the squad, who originally was a trainee and the professional with Charlton Athletic.

With the rapid management changes at the Valley in 2006, Mike found his chance limited and was keen to move on.

The opportunity arose for a trial period with Wrexham and he impressed enough to earn a six month contract in January 2007.

That deal was extended for another season in the summer of 2007 and Mike has also added to his tally of Northern Ireland U21 caps since.
