Signed from Trinidadian club W Connection FC, Silvio is an established international with his country who only just missed out on the 2006 World Cup Finals due to an injury picked up days before the team left for Germany.
His career has already seen him play in Italy and Japan, while a number of clubs in England and Scotland tried to sign him before he gained a work permit to move to the Racecourse in the summer of 2007.
After a frustrating first season at the Racecourse, which saw him rarely used, he has bounced back in 2008/09 and forced his way back into contention.
He is also back with the Trinidad & Tobago national team, turning out against the US as the Soca Warriors recorded an historic first ever victory over the States in 18 attempts.
